What's the Do about SQUIDOO?

Squidoo is a website designed to make it easy for anyone, for free, to set up a single page on a topic he or she knows or cares a lot about. ... However, what Gayle has realized is that business type people who are populating the internet with their online presence isn't patient enough to really create a nice-looking lens (which is what Squidoo calls their web pages). So, that's been a recent source of income for the IMAGEhost side of her business. Along with Joomla, WordPress, Drupal and other free, easy (myspace, etc.), SQUIDOO is now on the list.http://www.squidoo.com/ramtech (http://www.squidoo.com/ramtech) is a squidoo lens to compliment the website ww.ramtechremote.com (http://www.ramtechremote.com) (RAMtech's virtual online technical assistant service) Also, Gayle designed a lens for Michelle Rigg (http://www.squidoo.com/create-ezine-podcasts) - take a look! Looks simple and easy, right? Go ahead, create your own lens, give it a try and if you need help, email me from Squidoo lens page (http://www.squidoo.com/ramtech) .

Talk About Geeks!

According to research conducted by CBC News, only 3 out of 10 technicians who may come to your home actually know what they are doing. This is not just a sorry state of affairs, it’s downright scary! One reason Gayle decided to offer on-site (as well as remote) PC support is because older women feel more comfortable with a female computer technician coming to their home. PC-World (http://www.pcworld.com/consumer/article/0,5120,17240,00.html) found out in their undercover study of both nationwide computer service centers and small Mom and Pop computer shops, that somewhere around 80 or 90 percent of them either couldn't fix the problem or sold them hundreds of dollars of unneeded parts. That's eight or nine out of ten! That's pretty sad! RAMtech relies on referrals, word of mouth, ratings - that's because we are always rated high, praised lavishly, and can proudly say that our clients trust us (and for good reason: we ARE trustworthy souls!). That is why we've been in business for the last 20 years. Incompetent techs should just be publicly stoned (or... that didn't sound right, ha!).
